Dreaded Jury Duty

So it is 3 and I have been @ the courthouse all day for jury duty! I don't know what to think! I'm happy cuz I basically called in sick since all I am doing is watching movies and Bobby Flay and also had a 2 hr lunch.... Oh and I even took a nap! I woke up with a ring imprint in my forehead! But I'm also not so happy cuz I'm bored outta my mind!! There has got to be a much better way to go about this whole jury thing! I mean do they really need like 100 people sitting around all day doing jack crap?? I mean half of us including me hasn't even been seen by anyone yet! Apparently there is one more room left that we are waiting to hear from.... If they don't need me than I'm free for 18 months...why can't they get things together sooner so I can leave sooner....I guess I need a judge or lawyer opinion on it since I don't knownwhat they are doing... I'd rather be sitting at work coloring lol.... Most people hate jury duty... How do u feel about it

Benihana Experience

Here's the update from my Benihana visit that I promised last Sunday.... Our chef was Jose... He was super cool!! He made an onion volcano! He also caught shrimp in his hat and coat lol... It was a fun experience! We plan on going back very soon!!

So... I'm at Benihanas for dinner and guess who is sitting right across from me?? Zach Randolph! He's a forward for the Memphis Grizzlies!! They play the Kings tomorrow night! I'll update my blog after dinner with more pix from dinner... Enjoy my blurry pix of Zach...

@ the Kings Game

At the Kings game this Friday evening! Seats arent the best but what can u expect for 10 dolla seats... Got kicked outta the good seat we tried to steal. I think it was cuz there is 4 of us cuz Art and I do it all the time...I know you cant tell by the pic but thats Mr. Evans at the line!! Imma little sad cuz of all the games I been to this year the one I really wanted to go to I didn't! We were supposed to have the best seats for the Lakers & Kings! Those seats were gonna cost 500!!! I guess I should be thankful just to be out and about anyway!





Update on the Kings game...This is so much better! Finally the seats I wanted that's worth way more than $10!!! Kings lost to the Bucks in double OT! Good game... I'm def glad I went.

Tap

I miss tapping so much! Coo do you miss tappin too? We are supposed to start tap again in April but things are never for sure until last minute with both of us because our lives are crazy! I never thought I would miss tap as much as I do, but I do. I miss going to tap and doin the stupid buffalo all the way across the room...and I miss watching the dogs...lol... and puttin on my shoes and doin a little jig just to hear the pretty sound of my taps on the floor.....Hopefully we will go back and we can learn another dance like our Ragtime Cowboy Joe...heheheehehe... shufffle hop step...shuffffle hop step.... Fa-lap heel, fa-lap heel....lmao... oh Coo dont you miss the way Richard would say our steps?

Wish List

Some of these things I have but I'd def like new and I don't want exactly what's in the pix those are just for a visual! I want a new cam for sure! Things change so much and I want a cute new color with more pixels! I also really need a new laptop cuz mine doesn't even turn on hardly anymore but Art just got an Apple desktop so I won't go purchasing a laptop anytime soon.... My car now is not doing so well but I don't wanna run out and start makin payments on a car just yet so I hope it lasts a lot longer so I can get my beautiful Acura TL...def plan on getting roller blades! Been dying to for a while but haven't got around to it... And ice skates I want but I'm sure I'll never go outta my way for that! The Coach purse I actually did want that exact purse but Art won't get me something if he doesn't like it too! He picks out all my Coach purses all by himself and he does a great job anyway, I love all my Coach he has gotten me...I'll keep my wish list updated... It'll help when it's b-day and Xmas time lol...

This is my baby Jacob! He is 6 months old and he weighs 58lbs... He's a big boy. Most of these pix were a couple months ago so he is much bigger now. There is so many pix it was hard to decide which to use. Today my poor puppy had a little....... procedure.... So he is sore I'm assuming cuz he keeps cryin. There was a big pit when I was picking him up and he was super slow from the meds and I was hopin that Jacob would be too so he wouldn't hurt himself but he was still my same crazy pup! He's sleepin now... I hope he feels better when he wakes up....my puppy is the cutest ever! I love him so much. I named him after 2 characters from my fav show Lost and books Twilight.

Car Troubles

I really need to vent about my darn car...A little over 2 months ago my car wouldn't start.. It sucked super bad but it didn't bother me too much cuz I worked right across the street so I just walked to work and if I needed a car Art was sweet enough to let me use his car. But then it got old because I hated having to rely on other people for rides or wait for Art to come home... I hated feeling like a prisoner at home because I couldn't just up and go whenever I wanted... Finally I transferred offices so it gave me a real excuse to get it fixed asapolous... So I took it to this place called SWIMS...(pay attention)... That a friend recommended and I was so upset by them I'd never go back ever again!! I needed a fuel pump and they charged me $$700... Can u believe it!! I got a discount cuz my granny has AAA... but I still ended up paying like 600 which was still a rip!! They left my car outside all night unlocked (have a witness) and they were jerks when I went to pick up my car... It was like day-n-night with their attitudes...so whatever it's over and I got ripped off ...whatever...take it as a learning experience... NOPE!! A week goes by and I finally need gas cuz me and Art drove to Lou's parents for Sissy's 1st b-day party and then all the way to the casino cuz Art had a dream he won big... Lol... So I went to get gas and I'm watching the pump at the chunk of change I saved while it was broke down and it's at like 35 and I'm just thinkin geez is gas this expensive now.. And is it gonna stop and finally it does at 40 and I look down and gas is pouring all over the damn place!! I had no clue what could happen I was just hopin some jerk wasn't smoking nearby... So I had to take my car back and they were feeding me some BS excuse and saying the other part causing it wasn't up to par and that it didn't come with what I already paid for so basically trying to rip me off again... I couldn't deal I was going to flip out any moment so I called my aunt who is from Louisianna and they handle things a lot different than we do in Calli so she fixed them and they did it for free... But still what a headache these people put me through... And now just last week on my way home from the park my car just died in the middle of the street while I was at a red light!! Ugh!! Are u kidding me!! What now!!... So again I had to have it towed... I took it to Marvins in West Sac... I needed a new battery and an alternator.. What a pain and more moolah...I'd say it was better priced considering I did my own shoppin around this time... My battery light still comes on sometimes so I gotta call about that today but so far the car at least runs... And the great thing is that I feel like the guy there was actually a nice person and wasn't trying to rip me off! He seemed to actually care about the issues of my car and even took the time to explain what was up and I will go back there so he can assist me in any other car troubles!

Over The Weekend

Ugh.... Monday again... It comes so fast! Thankfully I only have one job again so I can enjoy my weekend and not have to wake up so early!! It was such a beautiful weekend! It was sunny and warm all weekend... It was the best.. A wonderful break from the cold and rain! It rained Friday but it was pretty after that...I started my weekend off with a nice Chinese lunch at Hong Kong Cafe with Kelly... So good! I have to really be in the mood for Chinese and I was since I have been eating really healthy all the time. Saturday I went down to the bay and got to see my Granny and PaPa... My mom and aunt left everyone and went back to Louisianna...who knows when or if they will be back... I suppose we will see tomorrow! Sunday was the best because of the time change it seemed longer.. Maybe it was because I woke up so darn early but it was a long, beautiful day...I met up with Art after work and we went to the mall then to his moms house. Then I went to see Steph and we walked to a park by her house and walked around it a couple times and then I went straight to the pond by my house to meet up with Caroline and we walked around that too... I walked for like 3 hrs! It was awesome except for the fact that I was wearing my Vans and not my running shoes so my feet were killing me!! Today is suppose to be clear out too so hopefully me and Lina can go to the pond again and walk 10 or 15 miles today!! Pretty soon we are getting rollerblades!! YAY!!

A New Me.... Maybe

So I did this cleanse for 10 days. It's called the Master Cleanse.... Well I finished and was so amazed at myself for actually following
through with it the whole time. By day 2 I thought I was gonna die if I didn't eat and I was starving and wanted to eat everything and everyone that ate by me I wanted to attack but the alternative was just submerging my entire nose in their wonderful meals and smelling. Which was awesome for me cuz for some reason it allowed me to push it away.... And not so pleasant for the person with the grub but I don't mind cuz my nose is clean  the next 4 days were cake!! I felt so powerful, like nothing could touch me, like I was the queen of the world.... Of course it was all a mind thing but I think that's part of why u cleanse.... You know clean out your body of toxins and free your mind from nonsense....I felt free of my cravings of fast food and yummy, yummy crap like cake & brownies & chocolate & my worst enemy ice cream....I felt like I could give up anything and do anything.... I've never felt so great.... Then the rest of the time I was back to hungry.... But after the cleanse I have stopped eating fast food and since I'm lactose intolerant I am finally, for the first time in my life able to enjoy soy milk and I don't eat or drink dairy.... I also eat a lot more healthy than I ever have. It's only been 7 days since I have been able to eat but I have stayed strong and I really hope I can have the power to stay on this healthier path that I really do want to live. I also started working out just a little. I know I need to kick it up so I can live a long and healthy life..... So maybe this will be the new me..... We will see....
